BIOGRAPHIE: Died Monday at noon July 10, 1905 from heart failure. Born in Springerburg, Austria, June 2, 1848, lived there til 20 years old, went with her brother to America and made home in Manitowak. April 15, 1872 married Joseph Plutz. Eight children resulted from the marriage: John, Joseph, Louis, Henry, Frank, Mary, Margaret and Barbara. Soon after her marriage, she lived on a farm near Dundas and died there. "She has, by her uprighteness, and friendly ways gained the highest esteem of all whom she came in contact. Hers was one of those noble lives to duty wed, to her, motherhood was the crwoning glory of womanhood and as a queen she lived in the hearts of her children to whom her life was devoted. Her last audible wish was to see all her family just once more. Truly her soul had outgrown its earthly tenement and needed boundless infinity for its perfect development." Funeral was at West Holland and was buried at St. Francis cemetary.
