BIOGRAPHIE :
Er war 1750 nach Amerika ausgewandert. Mit dem Segelschiff "Two Brothers"
( Kapitän: Thomas ARNT ) war er am 28. August 1750 von Rotterdam im Hafen
von Philadelphia angekommen.
Bald nach seiner Ankunft zog er mit seiner Familie nach North Carolina, in eine
Gegend, die heute dem Lincoln County entspricht. Dort ist er auch 1757 in einer
Steuerliste aufgeführt. Ebenfalls 1757 taucht sein Name in einem Grundstücks-
kaufvertrag auf ( gekauft werden 185 acres Land am Leeper's Creek von einem
gewissen Martin DELLINGER ).
In einer Urkunde vom 20. Mai 1783 vermacht er das besagte Stück Land neben
einigen anderen Ländereien aus seinem Besitz und sämtliche fahrende Habe
an seinen Sohn Heinrich ("Henry").
