Cemetery information says he was born 18 Feb 1868 and died 9 Apr 1932. Five years after their marriage, in 1895, they migrated to a homesteadin the Schmidtsberg area south of Waldheim, (N.W.T.) Saskatchewan. In1902 they moved to the Carsen School district northwest of Hepburn,Saskatchewan and a few years later to Langham, Saskatchewan, whereClaus died.
