The above info tells us that Joseph Hill, married to Lettice can notbe Joseph Hill married to Margaret McMillian. These deeds indicatethat this Joseph Hill died and the family is selling out in 1808. Thefirst deed has Lettice and two children signing (only two that are ofage), and the 1814 deed has all the children signing, for they are allof age by 1814. These deeds also let us know that Lettice was alive aslate as 1814, where the other Joseph married Margaret McMillian in1799 in Rockbridge.
