Notes for this person

Elizabeth is somehow related to many other Bicher families who came from Lancaster Co. PA to Franklin Co. OH, where they changed surname to Beecher. Most lived near today's Beecher Rd. in Gahanna. They can be found elsewhere in our tree. Elizabeth Bicher's father in law, Christian Heyl, had a brother Conrad who had Henry Bicher witness his will filed in Franklin County. Henry is obviously related to Elizabeth and could well be her father. At the time the will was proved in 1859, Henry was living in Bloom Township, Fairfield County. Henry may be either: Henry Ward Bicher http://www.SearchTrees.com/tree/4449.htm J. H. Christian Heyl; nephew and godson, John Konrod Heyl; children of my deceased niece, Maria more, late of Illinois and Elizabeth Hymrod, wife of John Hymrod; nephews: Lawrence, Lewis, William E., George W. and Charles Heyl; niece Mary A. Henkel; nephew Christian Myer; nieces Catherine Lambert and Mary Kaemerer; nephew John Lambert; executor: newphew Lawrence Heyl; witnesses to will: Fernando C. Kelton and E. N. Stelzer, a clerk in merchant establishment of Kelton, Bancroft and Co. and who was deceased at time of proving will; witnesses to codicil: Henry Bicher and George Katzmyer. At time of proving, Henry Bicher was of Bloom Twp., Fairfield Co., Apr. 10, 1859.
