Other Information:
1. He was 36 years old when his son Antoni was born in 1810.
2. The wedding record (1805) does not state the names of the parents. The LDS church only has one church book from the year 1805. From 1808 onwards there are usually three different copies.
3. There were three couples with the family name Knap living in the Godziesze parish in the 1770s. They were: (1) Wojciech (Latin: Adalberti) and Marianna in the village Godziesze Wielkie; (2) Jan (Latin: Joannis) and Katarzyna (Latin: Catharina) in the village Godziesze Male and later Brzeziny; and (3) Mikolaj (Latin: Nicolai) and Anna in the village Godziesze Wielkie; his second wife was Katarzyna (Latin: Catharina). I could not find a son named Michal for any of these couples in the period of 1768 to 1781, inclusive. Baptism records for the Godziesze parish are missing from May 1773 to December 1773 and May 1775 to December 1775. The LDS church only has one church book of baptisms of the years 1770 to 1778.
