" Harrisburg, August 11:
On Friday evening the 29th ultimo, Major Abraham Latcha, of Northumberland County, with his two sons and son-in-law, in attempting to cross the west branch of the Susquehanna, with a canoe loaded with stones - the canoe sunk, and Mr Latcha and his two sons were drowned." None of the sons for this family show a death date of 1791.
Er ertrank mit zwei seiner Söhne 1791: Aus Dunlaps Daily Advertiser (Tageszeitung) am 17. August 1791 Seite 3.
"Harrisburg im August: Am letzten Freitag abend, dem 29. überquerte Major Abraham Latcha aus dem Bezirk Northumberland mit zwei von seinen Söhnen und einem Schwiegersohn die Westseite desFlusses Susquehanna mit einem mit Steinen beladenen Kanu.Das Kanu sank und Mr. Latcha und zwei seiner Söhne ertranken."
Keiner der Söhne dieser Familie zeigte den Todestag in 1791 an.
