Note about Child #3, Thomas who married Anne Minor. Their son Garett Meriwether married Mary A. Minor and their son Minor Meriwether married Elizabeth Avery. This Elizabeth is the one who wrote the book "Elizabeth Avery Meriwether - Recollections of 1824 - 92 Years -1916". (EXCELLENT BOOK ) Minor was a 3rd cousin of my great grandmother Annie Harvie Howard, thus making him my 3rd cousin 3 times removed - Patsy W. Penney
