Notes for this person
It is possible - but certainly note verified - that He ster was married a
second time in Kansas after Adam's death in about 1875. H ave found a
listing on computer indicating a Hester Heyne married Johann Frie drich
Weidler on August 31, 1880 in Chester Twp., Ottawa, Kansas. Weidler wa s
born on March 25, 1821 and died in November 1884.
However, Hester was in Oregon by 1882 and was married to Josiah Flynn by
September of that year. So , unless she divorced Weidler, this
information is not correct.
Information received from cousin, Donna Barr, indicates that Hester
signed the "Final Tra nsfer of Property" with regard to the Kansas farm -
in Oregon on July 3, 1882 . I do not have a copy of this transfer. It
appears to me everything was co mpleted before Hester left Kansas.[2385014.ged]
