Mary Frances DeWerff, age 63, of Hinckley, IL, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2003 at the Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born on April 17, 1940 in Philipsburg, PA, the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (Biddle) Boyer. Mary was united in marriage on March 18, 1961 at the First Baptist Church in Decatur, IL, to Mr. Earl DeWerff. She was a member of the Hinckley First United Methodist Church in Hinckley, IL. She employed by both the Nash Furniture Stores and the Nash Funeral Homes in Hinckley and Waterman, IL.
She is survived by her husband, Earl DeWerff of Hinckley, IL; her four daughters, Kimberly (Dwayne) Eriksen of Naperville,IL, Robin (Mark) Chuk of Aurora, IL, Dawn (Neil) McQuality of Montgomery, IL and Jodi (Owen) Smith of Sandwich, IL; her grandchildren, Emma and Anna Eriksen, Vanessa Chuk, Tyler and Tanner McQuality, and Jackson and Savannah Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents,Frank and Dorothy Boyer and her granddaughter, Cassandra Chuk. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at the Hinckley First United Methodist Church in Hinckley, IL. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hinckley, IL. Arrangements by Nelson Funeral Homes, (815) 286-3247 or (630) 553-7611.
