Christoph Preibisius (2. Februar 1580 - 1. März 1651) Christoph Preibisius/ beyder Rechte Doctor der Röm. Kays. Maj. gefreyeter Hoff- und Pfaltz-Graf / der löblichen Juristen Facultät allhier und des Frauen Collegii Senior, sodann auch Physicae Professor Publicus, und dazumals Rector bey der Universität allhier im 71 Jahr seines Alters verschieden. Dieses ist der erste Rector, welcher in seiner Administration des Rectorats gestorben / dergleichen von Anfang dieser löblichen Universität / so selbiger Zeit über 240 Jahr gestande/ und da es allzeit geheissen: Rector non moritur, noch niemals geschehen. Folgendes Tages ward angefangen in der Pauliner Kirche und in denen Collegiis umb 12 Uhr biß 1 Vierthel auff 1 Uhr mit allen Glocken zu läuten. Den 7 dieses ward der verblichene Cörper in angelegten Rector Habit / in der Pauliner Kirchen mit grossen Solennitäten beerdigt.
