Obituary 17 Aug 1949 BROOKSTON, Aug. 17 -- Mrs. Cora Garrott, 79, widow of Arthur Garrott, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday in St. Elizabeth hospital, Lafayette, after a short illness. She was born near Pretty Prairie and was married in 1894 to Arthur Garrott. She was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Bennett, of Lafayette, and Mrs. Ruth Yount, of Brookston, one sister, Mrs. Macy Collier, of Lafayette, and two brothers, Kiley Sterrett, of Lafayette, and Sumner Sterrett, of Battle Ground.
