| Obituary | 20 Jun 1952 Sumner J. Sterrett, 79, a native and lifelong resident of near Battle Ground, died yesterday afternoon in the home of a son, Chester, near Battle Ground. Mr. Sterrett had been ill since April. He was a member of the Metnodist church and had been a farmer all his life. He married Clara McKinley who survives. Survivors include the widow, seven sons, Chester, at whose home he died; Floyd of Camden, Joseph of Delphi, Leonard of Lafayette, Elva of here, Lowell of Reynolds, and Orville of Monon; a sister, Mrs. Macy Collier and a brother, Kiley, both of Lafayette. | Lafayette, Tippecanoe, Indiana, United States Sumner J.
