| Newspaper | 16 Oct 1925 The home of Mrs. Pearl L. Beeker on South Twenty-sixth street, was the scene of a pretty wedding Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock when her daughter, Mary Jane, became the bride of Marshall Lamarr Hackleman of Chicago. The Rev. T. F. Williams read the ring service, in the presence of a few close friends and the immediate relatives. Miss Amelia Eberhardt played the Lohengrin wedding march for the entrance of the bridal couple and during the ceremony softly played "Love's Old Sweet Song". The bride was becomingly gowned in blue satin with hand embroidery as trimming. Mrs. Hackleman attended Jefferson high school and later graduated at the Lafayette Business college. She has been employed at the Purdue experiment station. Mr. Hackleman is a son of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Hackleman of Chicago and was graduated from Purdue university in 1924. At present he is employed by the Western Electric company. After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Hackleman will be at home at 830 East Seventh street. Downer's Grove, Ill. Among the guests at the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Hackleman and Carl Backer of Chicago. A supper was served following the ceremony at tables appointed in yellow and white. Chrysanthemums were effectively used about the rooms. | Lafayette, Tippecanoe, Indiana, United States The home of Mrs. Pearl L.
