John Alfred "Jack" KARLE

John A. "Jack" KarleNov. 1, 1942 -- July 17, 2006John A. "Jack" Karle, 63, passed away Monday at Riverview Manor following a lengthy illness. He was born in Fremont on Nov. 1, 1942, the son of Frank and Coletta (Foos) Karle. Jack has been a resident of this area for many years. He was employed at Owens-Illinois for 27 years before retiring. Jack loved his family very much and kept in touch through the Internet with his children who live out of state. He was a huge fan of Ohio State and the Cleveland Indians. Jack was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mr. Karle is survived by his loving family, one daughter, Jacqueline Karle, of Marleton, N.J.; four sons, Mike (Rebecca) Karle, of Centreville, Mich., Ryan Karle, of Marleton, N.J., Scott (Lisa) Karle, of Three Rivers, and Chris (Mary Ann) Karle, of Charleston, S.C.; two brothers, Howard and Tony Karle, both of Fremont.; two sisters, Janet Kwiatkowski, of Fremont, and Jean Kastner, of Findlay.; nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 10 a.m. Friday one hour prior to the service at the Hohner Funeral Home, Three Rivers, Mich. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Fr. John Peter Ambrose as celebrant. Memorials: Multiple Sclerosis Society. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
