Caroline was born in Evansville, Indiana on April 4, 1936, to the late George and Ada (Keach) Clem. She graduated from Central High School and worked at Shane Uniform and Anchor Industries. She and her husband, John enjoyed square dancing in which she made all of their outfits that they would dance in. Caroline also was a great seamstress, enjoyed motorcycle riding, quilting and ceramics. She adored her family and will be missed greatly. Caroline is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Lunceford of Evansville, IN and her sons, Ronald Lunceford (Carla) of Evansville, IN, Danny Lunceford (Sue) of Lake Wales, FL and Brian Lunceford of Evansville, IN; sisters, Gloria Brown (Harry) of Evansville, IN and Dorothy Rice of Evansville, IN; sister-in-law, Margaret Clem; grandchildren, Joshua Lunceford, Justin Lunceford and Jessica Lunceford; great granddaughter, Hailey Lunceford and a future Lunceford due in December, Lincoln Lunceford. Caroline was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George Clem and Carl Clem; a grandson, Brent Lunceford; and a brother-in-law, Gerald Rice. A celebration of Caroline's life will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Rev. Tim Gerbig officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 9:00 am until service time on Saturday. Published in Courier Press, October 18, 2019.
