Mrs. Balsano was born in Vergennes, Feb. 14, 1899, and lived there practically all her life. Surviving are five daughters, Rose, Mary, Margaret, Eloise and Madoline; six sons, Sylvester, John William, Eugene, Joseph, Bernard and Wayne. Also her parents, Mr. John Spangler, of Murphysboro and Mrs. Mary Deneen of Harrison, Ill., two brothers, Earl Spangler of Harrison and Ardell Spangler of Mattoon, Ill. Funeral services conducted by Father J. J. Taggart will be held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Andrew's church, of which Mrs. Balsano was a member. Burial will be in St. Andrew's cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Meyer Funeral Home until the hour of service at the church. The Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:30 in the funeral home.
