<p>Johann ist Begründer der ostfriesischen Linie.</p> <p>Nach Besuch der "Lateinschule" zunächst Gerichtsschreiber in Zwischenahn, dann Gehilfe in der Weinhandlung des Christian Börner,gründete er 1807 als Gwürzkrämer eine eigene Firma, seit 1815 nach Aufnahme des Schwagers Weert Klopp in die Firma dann: "Joh. Bünting & Co".</p>
