<p>Birthplace uncertain. Jakob Seitz was a farmer at Kriegsheim, then at Boßweiler. In 1820 he moved to Oberbayern and was a farmer at Thann. He was one of the ministers at Eichstock from 1825-1839. In 1855 he emigrated to the USA, presumably to St Clair County, Illinois, with his five or six grandchildren, children of Abraham Seitz. Death place may have been Lee County, Iowa.</p><p>Birthplace may be Monsheim or Kriegsheim.</p>Death date may be closer to 1860. Both birth and death dates are uncertain.
