LeVan, 60, of 1923 Twenty-third street, pastor of Mills Memorial Methodist church here, died Sunday in Pnrt Hnrnn Kncnital aftor a Shor illness Mr. LeVan was born May 25, 1896, in Leighton, Pa., a son of Elmer and Daisy LeVan. He and the former Miss Laura Bohnsack were married June 11, 1919, in Lapeer. Mr. LeVan came to Port Huron from Detroit about a year ago to take over the local pastorale. While In Detroit he served as pastor of Bethlehem Methodist church two years. He also served as pastor of Mt. Morris, Mich., Methodist church five years and Trinity Methodist church, Flint, seven years. He was a member of the Port Huron Methodist district, a member of Bay City Consistory Commandery No. 15, Knights Templar, Flint. He also was a member of Chesening, Mich., lodge No. 194, F. & A.M., Chesening chapter of RAM and the Standish, Mich., IOOF lodge | Port Huron, St.Clair, Michigan, United States Had Served Here One Year Rev.
