Todesanzeige 4 Dec 1968cember 3, 1968, at Hurley Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Riverside Tabernacle. Rev. Ivar Frick officiating. Burial in German Cemetery, Columbiaville. Mrs. Michener will lie in state at the Brown Funeral home, 1616 Davison Rd. until 11 a,m, Thursday, then will be taken to the church for services. She was born in Columbiaville, Michigan, March 15, 1896, and had been a resident of Flint for the last 52 years, Mrs. Michener was a charter member of the Riverside Tabernacle, and was manager of the Michener Furniture Store for 20 years. Surviving are her husband, Henry; daughter Mrs. Theodore (Margaret) Collet of Ferndale; 2 sons, William E. and Earl J., both of Flint, 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Harry (Nellie) Austin of Holly, Michigan, Mrs. Alvin (Bertha) Burtis of Flint and Mrs. Zelma Montie of Eaton Rapids; brother, Leslie Ross of New Port Richey, Florida; several nieces and nephews.
