Information about military schooling and awards are on military form DD214 in possession of June WALLING, Sunnyvale, California, 1991. John was in the aviation branch his entire military carrier, land based until assignment to the USS Ranger as ship's company, V-6 division for two years. He decided retirement was more interesting than additional shipboard duty. As soon as he was eligible for retirement, he was stationed at, and retired at, NAS Moffett Field, California, 1961. !OCCUPATION: Worked for Hewlett Packard Co., Palo Alto, California, Mar 1961 until retirement, Jan 1978, employee #5697; Customer Service manager for 10 years, International Service manager for 2+ years; Traveled through the Orient and South America setting up service facilities and advising on operating techniques; travel became tedious, and he came back to corporate office working until retirement.
