[Ahlf _all.GED] [JW Claus Ahlf.FTW] !BIRTH-SPOUSE-CHILD: Evangelical Lutheran Church records, Burg, Dithmarschen, Schleswig Holstein, Germany; Konfirmation 1808-1889 and Marriages 1807-1857, pg 448, #18; lists bride and groom, parents names, marriage date; age of father estimated from age of bride; copied at church office, October 1995 by June WALLING, Sunnyvale, California. I visited the church and was allowed to look at the original books. They could not be photo copied, but I was allowed to photograph them. Many of the three or four books I saw were indexed. Frau MOLLER was very helpful and had marked several of the births and christenings (taufe) that I was interested in. Before going, a letter was sent to the church saying we would be there and hoped to view the records.
