I know Conrad Shell started a family in Lacrosse, WI but I don't know where he spent his last days or where he was buried. He had a son named Lewis William Shell who was born in Lacrosse, WI. Lewis W. Shell at some point moved west and had a large family in eastern S.D. Miller township, Hand County, South Dakota. There Lewis W. Shell and his wife Rebecca Nass had 9 kids. 4 daughters and 5 boys. My grandfather Albert L. Shell was the youngest of the bunch. Grandpa was in the Army but I don't know much other than he mentioned that they had him taking care of their horses. Albert was the one of the ones who came to WY and got married in 1940 in Newcastle, WY. His brother Art Shell also lived many years in Newcastle, WY. Albert and my grandma were divorced in 1957 and he never remarried. They had 7 kids in those 17 years. Albert worked at many ranches in WY and western S.D. He was buried in Newcastle, WY in 1998. Albert's mother and father are also buried in the Newcastle, WY cemetary. Lewis William Shell d. 25 Feb 1945 wife Rebecca Alma Nass d. 30 Mar 1952
