Aaron Panabaker, he and his wife were long time communicants of the First Congregational Church in Kaukauna; it is possible that they were married there. Aaron and his family made the Appleton News frequently - he as an honored railroad engineer. He began with the railroad in 1880, served 44 years, and retired with honors - only one wreck, only one injury. It appears that Aaron Panabaker was indeed the decorated engineer. The 1920 census paints him so, and by the 1930 census he had retired.
