Obituary In loving memory of Jeri whowent to our father in Heaven January 14th, 2012 in Spokane WA. She spent the last week of her life at the Hospice house of Spokane where she was surrounded byher family. Jeri was born in Pierre South Dakota, January 28, 1935 to Robert andIona Howard. Her siblings are Jane Henke, Richard Howard and Robert (Buck) Howard. As a child, she moved to Priest River, Idaho where she grew up, graduated from Priest River High School and eventually met the love of her life Teles Lauzon. Teles and Jeri married October 25th, 1958 in Priest River, ID. Teles` job tookthem many places including the Panama Canal. After numerous years of travel they settled in Spokane, WA where Jeri was a loving mother to her children Kelley and (husband George), Margaret, Maria and (husband Rich) and Herbert and (wife Barbara). She was the grandmother to grandsons: Casey, Steven, Grant, Peter, Thomas, Ed, Doug and Brendan and to granddaughters: Amanda, Lilly, Lydia and Beth. She was a great-grandmother to Iris, Lance, Lexie and Abbigail. Jeri was blessed with a wonderful life where she was a Girl Scout leader for years where she touched the lives of many girls (and one little boy). Helped her husband operate theshell service stations that they owned. Retired from Sacred Heart Hospital after20 years of service. Jeri had the ability to know when you needed a hug and exactly what to say (or not to say) to make you feel better. Her quick wit, brilliant mind, generosity and sparkling blue eyes (we really did wonder what Irish eyes were up to) will be greatly missed by her friends and family. A celebrationof life will take place at the VFW post 1435 (212 David St.) January 29th, 2pm.A memorial contribution can be made to Hospice of Spokane.
