NORRIS, GLORIA LOUISE CAMPBELL, 75 Gloria Louise Campbell Norris, 75, passed away on January 19, 2011, at Hospice of Marion County, Sylvia's House. Gloria was born in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Ocala in 1961. She enjoyed working in the medical field for many years. Gloria was a talented musician and vocalist. As a teenager she appeared on "Whispering" Bill Anderson's television show in Atlanta. Later she was invited to New York to audition for the Ted Mack Amateur Hour television show. She was an active member of the Lions Club, transferring to the Silver Springs Lions Club in 2002, where she was on the Board of Directors and held the Sunshine Chair. Gloria is survived by three daughters: Yvonne N. Landt, Elaine Norris, and Lynn N. Chancey; eight grandchildren: Andy Hinkle, Freddy Landt, Alex Landt, Doug Wallace, Cecil Wallace, Cody Chancey, Caitlyn Chancey and Cole Chancey; three great-grandchildren: Layken Hinkle, Landyn Hinkle and Jasmine Wallace; a sister, Joan Hamby; and two nieces: Regenia Guaraglia and Vicki Barron, She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Dianne Norris. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011, at 11;00 a. m. at the Silver Springs Lions Club, 5310 NE 24th Street, Ocala, Florida.
