Notizen zu dieser Person

Friedrich von Büren (Latin Friedericus de Buren) was a progenitor of the family of the Staufer in the 11th century. Mention Friedrich von Büren was only mentioned in a list of ancestors of Emperor Frederick Barbarossa, which was created in 1153 by Wibald von Stablo. In it was called as his father a Fridericus. Further information does not contain this short enumeration. [2] Buren The location of Burg Buren is unknown. In the research two castles near the later main castle Hohenstaufen were suggested for it. Wäscherburg The research has repeatedly considered the Schloss Wäscherburg, a castle site east of today's Wäschenbeuren as the seat of Frederick. There was a residential tower in the 11th century. However, the castle now preserved there was built in the 13th century. Burgstall Burren Also the Burgstall Burren, which lies 600 meters west of the Schloss Wäscherburg, could have been the seat of Friedrich. There was also a residential tower in the 11th century. [3] [4] This location is less likely. [5] Marriage and offspring Friedrich was married to Hildegard von Egisheim. This probably came from the influential Earl family Egisheim-Dagsburg in Alsace. Her paternal uncle was probably the later Pope Leo IX. Hildegard brought great goods into the marriage. The two had six children. [6] [7] Ludwig († no later than mid-1103), was 1103 posthumously named Pfalzgraf in Swabia, co-founder of St. Fides to Schlettstadt Adelheid († after summer 1094) Otto (c. 1046/1047, † August 3, 1100) 1083 / 1084-1100 Bishop of Strasbourg, 1094 Co-founder of the St. Fides Monastery in Schlettstadt Friedrich (* 1047/1048, † 1105 before 21 July), from 1079 Duke of Swabia ⚭ 1086/1087 Agnes von Waiblingen (* late 1072, † September 24, 1143), daughter of Emperor Henry IV of the royal family of Salier Konrad († after autumn 1094, probably before July 1095) Walther († after July 23, 1095, before 1103) literature Hansmartin Schwarzmaier: Friedrich "von Buren", "ancestor of the Staufer" (around 1010/20 - † around 1050/60).
