Suzanne Ellen Barnes Roberti 8/2/1934 - 7/17/2013 Suzanne was born near Detroit, Mich. and entered her heavenly home in Auburn, Calif. A resident of Loomis for 26 years and a long time resident of Bishop, Calif., was a devout member of Hope Lutheran Church, Penryn, Calif., where in her attendance she practiced her faith in the Altar Guild, Homebound Outreach where she prepared audio for anyone unable to attend services, Sunday School teacher, and always the first to prepare meals for potlucks. She lived life with kind words, love and patience; she was a hard worker and always fair. She loved to swim, fish, camp, play games and spend time with her loved ones. A devoted wife and mother she worked through many entrepreneurial endeavors such as property owner, landlady, storage facilities, wood business, Septic Company, she also worked for the State of California preparing contracts and Western Union. Suzanne is predeceased by William V. Roberti , husband; Leonard Roberti, son; Ronald Roberti, step-son; Philip Barnes, brother. Suzanne is survived by five children: Gregory Roberti, Roseville, Steven Roberti, The Woodlands, Tex., Trina Roberti and Evonne Roberti Fonsen of Loomis, Calif.; and step-son, Charles Kipling Roberti, Kneeland, Calif. Suzanne was a loving grandmother of nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and her niece and nephew. Services will be held August 10, 2013 at Hope Lutheran Church, Penryn at 10:30 a.m. Graveside service will be August 13, 2013 at Pioneer Cemetery in Bishop, Calif., at 10 a.m. Published in Gold Country Media Newspapers on August 8, 2013.
