PAUL DAILY REPORTER JUNE 14, 1933 YOUNG SOUTH PARK RESIDENT DIES AT HOME Robert Schlussler Victim of Diabetes---Funeral Plans Pending Robert Schlussler, 30 years old, husband of Mrs. Iva Schlussler, died at his home at 547 Fifteenth avenue north Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 o'clock. He had neen ill for more than a year suffering from diabetes and other complications. He had returned to his home three weeks ago from St. Joseph's hospital where he had been for twenty weeks. Besides his widow, Mr. Schlussler is survived by three children, Lavonne, Lawrence and Charles, his mother, Mrs Jessie Schlussler, three sisters, Mrs Martha Zuehl, Mildred and Irene Schlussler and six brothers, William, James Thomas, Phillip and Theodore, all living in So. St. Paul,and Albert Schlussler of Rich Valley. The funeral arrangements are pending the return of Rev. R.C. Ackermann who is expected to return home Thursday from a vacation trip. Mr. Schlussler was born March 29, 1903 at Grey Cloud Island. He attended the schools here for a time and was married to Miss Iva Burfield eight years ago. He formerly was employed at the United Packing plant. He was injured November 4, 1932, and since that time he had not been employed. SO. ST. PAUL DAILY REPORTER JUNE 15, 1933 FUNERAL FRIDAY FOR ROBERT SCHLUSSLER Funeral services for Robert Schlussler, 30 years old, who died following a year's illness at his home in South Park Tuesday evening, will be held from the family home at 547 Fifteenth avenue north Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and from the St. Paulus Lutheran Church, of which he was a member, at 3:00 o'clock. Rev. R.C. Ackermann will conduct the service. Interment will be made in the General Lutheran Cem. SO. ST.
