Obituary OLD RESIDENT OF TOWNSHIP PASSES AWAY Mrs. Marie Saul Had Resided inGrand Haven Township Sixty Three Years Mrs. Marie R. Saul, widow ofthe late Henry Saul, passed away at the old family home in Grand Haventownship last night at eleven o'clock. Mrs. Saul was 84 four years ofage and had made her home in Grand Haven township for the lastsixty-three years. She was one of the oldest residents of thecommunity coming to the lake shore region in her youth, when all abouther homestead was wilderness. Her husband , the late Henry Saul, whopassed away three years ago, was the best know resident of Grand Haventownship, and one of the most prominent farmers of the entirecommunity. Since his death his widow has continued to live on the farmwhich she helped her husband hew our of the forests. In spite of heradvance age she has been bright and active much of the time. Mrs. Saulwas born in Germany but came to America in her youth and has livedpractically all of her life in this community. She had many friends inGrand Haven city as well as in the township. Deceased is survived bythe following children: Mrs. Minnie Sinclair, Westwood N.J.; Mrs. MaryMiller, Grand Haven twonship; William Saul, Milwukee; Louis Saul,Henry Saul, Grand Haven township; Mrs. Frank Kaatz, Grand Haven city;Mrs. Balwin Hery and Mrs. Charles Bierman of Grand Haven township, abrother Louris Bredehoeft, Grand Haven township, sixteen grandchildren and eight great grand children also survive her. Funeral willbe held Friday afternoon, with services at the home at one o'clock andin the township church at two o'clock, Rev. Kock officiating. Burialwill be besider her husband in Grand Haven township cemetary.
