Donald Lee Tanger, 71, of Fort Myers, Fla. and Rittman, Ohio, diedTuesday, Aug. 23, 2005 in the North Collier Hospital, Naples, Fla. Born March 29, 1934 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Rene andMargaret Fissel Tanger. He was the husband of Ginger McCurry Tangerfor 38 years. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Deborah L.Burnett of Estero, Fla., Dawn L. Tanger of Gettysburg, and Delinda L.Tanger of Toledo, Ohio; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; onebrother, Gene Tanger of Mishawaka, Ind.; one sister, Brenda Megonnellof New Oxford. Memorial services will be on Sept. 5, at 2 p.m., in the home of BrendaMegonnell and Burnell Humbert, 1145 Dicks Dam Road, New Oxford. Mr.Tangers body has been donated to medical science. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Childrens ResearchHospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105. The Walter Shikanys Bonita Funeral Home was in charge of thearrangements.
