Obituary Rebecca (Peggy) Stubert, 73, Mandan Villa, Mandan, North Dakota,formerly of 500 Avenue "A" East, Bismarck, North Dakota, died Friday,November 29, 1985 at the Mandan Villa. She was born January 9, 1912 in Sheridan County, North Dakota, thedaughter of Gottlieb and Elizabeth (Tonn) Stubert. She started touringthe country when she turned 17 years old. She lived in Chicago from 1930 to 1952. She then moved to New Jerseyand worked there until moving back to North Dakota in 1971. She sawand worked other places but for shorter times. She worked as a waitress at the Drumstick Cafe until her stroke in1982. Peggy received the Waitress of the Year Award from the State ofNorth Dakota in 1980. Peggy's hobbies were crocheting and walking. After waitressing for atleast eight hours each day, she would go walking for three or fourmiles. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and foursisters. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Gust (Pauline) Schuh of Goodrich,North Dakota and a number of nieces and nephews.
