Distinguished career inSecondary Education, including principalship of Hayward High Schoolfrom 1955-1965 and Poway High School 1976-1979. After early retirementDon assisted the staff at St. John's Lutheran Church as PropertyManager. Don was a lifetime lover of the Sierra Nevada; fly fisherman,hiker and enthusiast of John Muir; traveler everywhere, soloing oftento the British Isles; accomplished pen and ink artist; author ofHandbook for the Reluctant Family Life Educators and My Life as aToad.
