He died as the result of an auto accident ******************************* Obit March 24, 1938 Minneapolis Tribune John DeMay The funeral for John deMay, 57, of 480 Lincoln street northeast will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the residence, with services at 9 a.m. in St. Lawrence church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's cemetery. Mr DeMay died Tuesday at General hospital from injuries received when he was struck by an automobile. Born in Italy, he had been a Minneapolis resident 35 years. Surviving are his wife; five sons, Charles, Joseph, Frank, Albert and Sam, all of Minneapolis; three daughters Mrs. John O'Hara, Violet and June DeMay, all of Minneapolis and two sisters, in Italy.
