Another man did research and did give the names of the towns so getting the copies of church documents would just be a matter of writing to the church archives. I do have the addresses for the archives in Schleswig-Holstein. This is what I have records for: Wilhelm Zornig b. 1676 Gross Schwansfeld, East Prussia (this is now in Poland) Wilhelm died in Breitenberg, Schleswig Holstein 1 Mai 1774 and his parents were Hans Zornig and Antje. All this comes from a copy of his death record. He married Anna Margaretha Bogen daughter of Johann Boge. She was born 1686 and died 11 Mai 1768 in Breitenberg. This information is from her death record. One of their nine known children was Hans Hinrich Zornig. He was born born in 1720 and died 31 Juli 1815 in Distrikt Breitenberg. He owned 20 morgens of land in Distrikt Breitenberg between 1769 and 1776 according to debt records. He married Margaretha Thode, daughter of Jochim Thode 30 October 1755 in Distrikt Breitenberg. She was born 1730 and died 19 April 1802 in Distrikt Breitenberg. They had six known children. One of those Marx, had descendants that immigrated to Australia and the United States. Another descendant Wilhelm, is our common ancestor. According to the research done by another descendant Wilhelm first had a son by Margaretha von Lohsen. This son, who's name I don't know, is the father of Eduard Ferdinand Emil Zornig born in Travemunde, Schleswig-Holstein 22 December 1815. He died in Keil 24 November 1874. He is the father of Hinrich Christian Martin Zornig who immigrated to Brazil. If you could write to the church to get a record of Eduard's birth, marriage or death perhaps you could get the names of his parents as this is the link that is missing in your line. Wilhelm Zornig went on to marry Cicilia Rehder and I descend from their son, Michael. Eduard was a master potterymaker. Two of his sons that remained in Germany were also potterymakers.
