Hi Hans,I have read some of your post on the Krulls.I am trying to find information on my Krull Family from Germany.I will tell you what I know and maybe it will tie into your line .My great grandfather. Frederick Otto Krull.His Obituary said he was born in Tribohm Prussia on Feb.4 1847.He Emigrated with his family to America on Aug 7 1882 Port ofHamburg, Ship Vandalia to New York.Moved to Woodstock IL. Died April 161916 He was suppose to have had 1 half brother in Germany.His Mothersname could have been Lizzy.He married around 1870 to Wilhelmina Friedrika Carolina Iven.Born April 15 1847 in Plennin Kries Franzburg Pommern. Died Sept 21 1935 in Woodstock,IL.Her parents names were LeonhardFriedrich Iven and Maria Dorother Berg. Frederick and Wilhelmine's children were:Anna 1870--Emma 1875--Ida 1877--Otto 1882 6 months old whenemmigrated.born in Schleswig. My grandfather. Hans, something I don'tunderstand on Frederick's Obiturary his name is listed as John Frederick Bernhard Krull.The only time I have ever seen it listed as such.2 yearsafter he was married he was called to serve the colors ,He wasanOfficer of the Second Pomeranied Field Artillery Regiment.
Do you know where I can find any information about this Regiment .Thiswas all taken from his Obituary .I suppose it was wrote by his wife.Would appreciate anything you can add to this . Is there another name for Otto? Ruby Krull
