Please forgive me the interruption on your vacation again but, I havea few thoughts on Kroll & Glaw/Glau. I know they are both hatters. Joseph Glaw now I know he was from Danzig and I think so were the Kroll'sprobably friends, etc. as they both ended up in the same house in NewJersey after they arrived US probably there was an arranged marriagebetween Karl Kroll and Elizabeth Glaw. I have been told in the past whether true or not that Kroll and his son Edward made military hats forWest Point Military Academy in New York, I have seen on one census record he stated he made Military Hats. I have access to such a small amount of records, and unfortunately I can't afford to hire a researcher, so I have worked on this for about 30 years to find what I have, myfamily told me nothing, I have been raised in very south Georgia, USAand they were from NY, they are all dead now and I only saw them oncein my life, since I'm now 69 yrs I may never find out any more about them. I thank you so very much for trying to help me, I simply don't know how to search in the German realm.
