but later homesteaded 160 acres in the Salt River valley
of Maricopa county, Arizona.
2. Later he was a farmer and sheep herder and owned 240
acres of land east of Lathrop, CA.
3. He had lost the sight in his left eye due to an accident
while playing war with his younger brother.
4. He died on his ranch that was east of Lathrop in San
Joaquin co., CA.
5. Much of the information concerning this family came from
the records of Rick Russell.
