Children:" "A Digest of the Early Connecticut Probate Records", Charles William Manwa ring, 1904: Volume 2, pages 225-226: " Volume VIII, page 257 Hills, Joseph, Sen., Glastonbury. Died 8 Nov, 1713. Invt. L386-04-0 6. Taken by Samuel Welles, Richard Smith, Sen., and William Wickham. Will dated 2 May 1713: I, Joseph Hills of Glastonbury, do make this my la st will and testament: I give unto Joseph Hills, my son, 100 rods in leng th of my upper lot which I bought of John Coleman. I give unto Benoni Hil l, part of that upper lot in Glastonbury. I give unto my daughter, HANN AH KEENY, and to my daughter Susannah Kilbourn, to each 10 shillings mone y. I give unto my daughter Dorothy Hollister L6 money. With respect to t he children I now have or hereafter may have by my present wife Elizabet h, my will is that they have, hold and enjoy that lot of land whereon I n ow dwell, with the buildings, fences and trees thereupon (which lot of la nd I made over to my sd. wife by way of jointure before my marriage with h er, in that tenure that the remainder thereof should be to the children th at I should happen to have by her). I give to my wife Elizabeth Hill the u se and improvement of all my lands until the children come to age to recei ve them. I give unto my wife, whom I appoint sole executrix, the who le of my moveable estate in goods and chatells, etc. I give unto my son He nry Hill the remaining part of my upper lot joining to my son Joseph Hill.
