Andy was made administrator of his fathers estate. Gudger Palmer talked about his grandfather, andy, who was cominghome one dark, cloudy night with a wagon and a team of horses. The horses started to rear and pitch. They were very excited, and hecould hardly control them. Evidently the horses could see something. Heknew there was danger nearby, but it was too dark for him to see what itwas. He knew that his horses would not act that way without reason.Finally, he got to his barn and put his horses up and feed them. Afterthey had gone to bed, they could hear scratching on the roof. The nextmorning he found some shingles torn loose. A panther had been stalkinghim and the horses.
