He married, Dec. 22, 1774, atNorth Killingworth, ABIGAIL STEVENS. Children: 5 (KELSEY), four sons and one daughter, all born atKillingworth. i REBINA, born July 10, 1775; married Aug. 5, 1798, at Killingworth,CALVIN GAYLORD. ii DANIEL, born May 6, 1778; died Jan. 23, 1863. iii MICHAEL, born Apr. 20, 1780; died Dec. 21, 1859. iv ROGER, born July 9, 1782; married CHLOE WRIGHT, second daughter ofDeacon Benjamin Wright. They went to New York State and settled atBergen, Genesee County, adjoining LeRoy, N. Y. They were admitted to theChurch at Bergen in 1818. There is no record of any children. v JOEL, born Oct. 3, 1785; died after 1826. Joel, Sr. made his will Nov. 4, 1826, proven at Saybrook, Apr. 3, 1827,in which he named his wife, Abigail, and the five children, who were all living at that date.
