Buried in the Lone Mountain Cemetery. Ozias Jordan was in the Civil War. He was a Private in company F, 5thTennessee Infantry. He was in from 2-25-1862 until 3-29-1865. He diddraw a pension. In the 1890 Veterans census he had a Graysville address. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My gr grandfather, Zimri Card, lived on Walden Ridge in TN. He was inCivil War, Union side, his family had to leave mountain and went to SaleCreek, TN, lived there with Jones family. When war was over and Zimricame back, very sick and weak, he and family remained at the Jones placefor almost a year, If, I remember correctly , Ozias Jordan, who gave deposition for pensionof Zimri Card. Ozias said he moved Zimri Card & family back to themountain. Zimri Card had land grant 1857 on mountain of 2000 acres, which joinedpart of Ozias Jordan's land.
