[Josh Aslinger.FTW] Personal interview with Mr. Drewia Crawley taken March 14, 1995. Speaking to Mr. Drewia Crawley, an older gentleman of Sale Creek that wasraised by Lizzie Aslinger Thomas and her husband Andy, I was able toconfirm the letter written by Miss Anabelle Aslinger to Mr. David Gray.Uncle Bud Moore, as he was called, did marry Carrie Defriese, thedaughter of Dr. Thomas J. Defriese from James County, Tennessee. Theyhad two daughters that Mr. Crawley could remember, Jennie and Pearl. Hedoes not think that Jennie ever married, but Pearl married a SollyFouts. He also mentioned that he went on a trip to Missouri and toTexas, but did not stay long. He raised one crop on the old farm. Mr.Crawley thinks that the year was about 1912. Mr. Crawley remembers that Solly and Pearl had some boys, but he couldnot recall their names.
