Don, I have worked on this family for years. Visited in McRae many yearsago and met Dr. Charles Malloy and visited the cemetery there. I soappreciate your data. I found the grave of Hugh Bain's mother on the Black Isle of Scotland. She is buried in the Killearnan churchyard. She was Isabella Mackenzie, the wife of William Bain of Strathglass for whom I have norecord. She died at the age of 90 in 1815. She had a brother, AlexanderMackenzie. The stone says" Alexander Mackenzie Baille late of Fort Rose". We went there, but I could not prove the lineage. Lillian Roberts e-mail
