Born June 13, 1854 at Buffalo, New York,Miss Bartell came to Wisconsin as a small child and was married April 11,1872, to Jacob Kinkel, who died several years ago. The couple lived inEden for a time and later to Forest, moving to Fond du Lac about 30 yearsago. Eight daughters and a son Henry, this city survive. as do threesisters, and 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The daughtersare; Mrs. Christ Immel and Louise Kinkel of this city; Mrs. WilliamPetri, Milwaukee; Mrs. George Krug and Mrs. John Thurk, this city; Mrs.Louis Garner of Vassar, MI; Mrs. Allan Passy of Detroit and Mrs. Harold Southern of Chicago. The sisters are Mrs. Kate Rosenbaum of FDL; Mrs.Louis Kramer, Sebeka, Minnesota and Mrs. Rose Van Dorsten, Walnut Grove,Minnesota.
