CHRISTINE G. SUSTMANN, 96, of Lakehurst, died Sunday at Manor by the Sea, Ocean Grove. She was the owner of What's Not gift shop, Yonkers, N.Y., for many years, retiring in 1950. She was a member of the Bayberry Twigs, Leisure Knoll, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ocean Grove Ushers Associate. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Lakewood, United Methodist Women and the Auxiliary of the United Methodist Homes, Riverdale, N.Y. She was a former memberof North Yonkers Community Church. Born in Yonkers, she lived there most of her life before moving to Lakehurst in 1985.
She was predeceased by her husband, Felix, in 1979 and her sister, Dorothea Genzlinger, of Yonkers in 1987.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. today, and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at D'Elia Funeral Home, Route 70 and Vermont Avenue, Lakewood. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery, Yonkers. Memorial donations may be made to the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association Nowand Forever Fund, 54 Putnam Ave., Ocean Grove, N.J. 07753, or the American Cancer Society.
