JOSEPH STEWART After battling and overcoming Hepatitis C, respected real estate broker, Joseph D. "Joe" Stewart, of Las Vegas, quietly passed away Nov. 29, 2014. He was born Sept. 27, 1952, in Grand Junction, Colo., to Howard and Irene Stewart. Joe was proud to have gotten his real estate license on his 21st birthday. As a high school student, he was chosen to attend the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. A 1974 alumni and avid fan of CU-Boulder athletics, Joe also enjoyed Oakland A's baseball, politics, reading and swimming. Joe moved to Las Vegas in 1984, where he met his wife, of 24 years, Linda, and raised his daughters, Amanda and Nora. Joe's quest for knowledge and compassion for others was unmatched. He was a beloved husband, father and friend to all. Joe is survived by his brother, James Howard Stewart; his wife; two daughters; and his many other relatives and friends.
