Notizen zu dieser Person
Fath Ali Shah was the nephew of Aqa Mohammad Khan (ca. 1742 to ca. 1797), the founder of the Qajar dynasty. According to various sources he had more than one thousand children and at the time of his death there were about 5000 persons who were either his children or grandchildren.
The crown prince Abbas Mirza (1787 to 1833) died one year before his father and his eldest son became king after the death of his grandfather Fath Ali Shah. Mohammad Shah ruled for 13 years. After his death in 1848 he was succedeed by he son Naser al Din Shah (1831 - May 1st, 1896), who ruled the country for 48 years.
Mozzafar al Din Shah (1853 to January 1907), the son of Naser al Din Shah, ruled the country just for 11 years. He was succeeded by Mohammad Ali Shah (born in 1872). Already on July 16, 1908, he was forced to abdicate in favour of his son Ahmad Shah, who was just twelve years old.
