Goblirsch, 70, Minneapolis, who died in a Rochester hospital, Saturday, at the Annunciation Catholic church Minneapolis, Tuesday morning. He had been in failing health or two years.
Mr. Goblirsch was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Goblirsch, early settlers of Lafayette Township, and was born there Jan. 18, 1876. He was married to Miss Elisabeth Seifert of Perham, Oct. 12, 1902. Mr. Goblirsch attended the Mankato Teachers college and for number of years was a schoolteacher in Nicollet and Redwood Counties. The past 25 years he was a clerk in the building inspector's office in Minneapolis.
Mr. Goblirsch is survived by his widow and eight children, Alphonse, Amor, Paul, Nestor, Carolus, Donald, Mrs. Glen Wright, all of Minneapolis, and Virgil, Washington, D.C.
Two brothers and one sister all survive. They are, Anton Goblirsch and Miss Catherine Goblirsch, New Ulm, and Andrew Goblirsch, Genola. The following from near here attended the funeral services: Mr. and Mrs. Anton Goblirsch, Miss Catherine Goblirsch, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Goblirsch and daughter, Lucille, Mrs. Mary Goblirsch, Mr. and Mrs. Al Martinka, and Miss Mary Goblirsch, New Ulm; John Goblirsch, and son, Alphonse, Mr. and Mrs. Rud Schmidt, Mrs. Joseph Seitz and daughter, Marilyn, Mrs. Catherine Goblirsch, Mrs. Alf. Aschenbrenner, and Mrs. Anna Fruwirth, Lafayette.
